Overview:

We are seeking a Creative Director to spearhead design efforts across the Walmart Enterprise. This role is crucial in shaping, governing, and executing our brand’s visual identity on a global scale, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence across all touchpoints. This Director will be responsible for leading external agency partners and building an internal team of senior designers and designers creating experiences for annual events, maintaining Enterprise brand guidelines, making swag for associates, and building identities across a wide variety of platforms. The ideal candidate has in-house, and agency experience bringing a blend of strong leadership skills and hands-on creative expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the creative vision for enterprise brand design, aligning with overall brand strategy and business objectives.Team management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of designers providing guidance, feedback and support to foster creative excellence.Mentor, guide, and grow the team with optimism and enthusiasm, pursuing an award-winning in-house agency model.Conduct semi-annual or annual performance evaluations with the goal to up-level our creative output; consider skillsets such as: benchmarking, presentation design, creative/strategic alignment, workshopping, public speaking, and critical thinking.Identify new, competitive talent to add to the growing team.  Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, production, and other key stakeholders to implement design systems that achieve broader business goals.Pursue ways that we can work better, faster.Manage team and projects that are on-brief and polished, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track.Partner with Creative Account Management and Operations (CAMO) and Production to manage timelines and executions to concept breakthrough creative on schedule and on budget.Enterprise Brand Cohesion: Ensure a unified and consistent brand identity across all channels and touchpoints. Work towards the shared goal of greater brand attribution and recall.Project Oversight: Manage high-profile design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging design technologies including artificial intelligence, incorporating relevant trends into brand design strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, brand strategy, or a related field.10+ years of experience in brand design, with a proven track record of leadership and successful project management at a high-level.Demonstrated experience in developing and executing design systems for large-scale enterprises.Exceptional portfolio showcasing design solutions across channels.Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, and Figma. Bonus if the candidate has experience leading teams proficient in Cinema 4D, After Effects, and other 3D modeling and motion design software.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment leading brand design work in-house or agency side

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
