USA - Engineer II - CTQ
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Project Coordinator in Batesville, IN. This role is within the engineering industry, with a focus on managing and coordinating engineering product design changes for released products. The successful candidate will be part of a team that leads design changes for medical device products such as hospital beds and equipment. Responsibilities: • Oversee cross-functional project teams from the planning stage through to implementation, including both internal and external team members. • Coordinate and execute multiple small to medium projects with limited supervision. • Utilize project management tools to plan and execute projects effectively, and guide project team members in problem-solving and decision-making processes. • Regularly communicate with different levels of the organization to provide status updates on ongoing projects. • Support KPI reporting related to change control with project reporting. • Develop and maintain project schedules. • Assist in the identification and communication of project risks. • Foster continuous improvement opportunities and drive ongoing process improvements within the engineering project team. • Manage design improvements, compliance requirements, quality improvements, and operations and supply chain support-related projects. • Resolve project-related issues to prevent delays and disruptions for the operations team. Requirements • Possess strong communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability in accurate reporting and KPI reporting. • Experience in marketing strategies within the engineering sector. • Proven track record in managing operations and planning in a fast-paced environment. • Strong commitment to quality assurance and control. • Proficient in design software and engineering principles. • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. • Experience in supervising teams, providing guidance, and mentoring entry level staff. • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. • Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and stakeholders. • Experience in the implementation of engineering projects. • Familiarity with Oracle databases and software. • Able to execute tasks efficiently, meeting project deadlines and objectives. • Experience in process improvement, with a focus on driving continuous improvement. • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies. • Ability to resolve issues promptly, mitigating potential project risks. • Understanding of compliance functions within the engineering sector. • Proven ability in change management, ensuring smooth transitions during project changes. • Familiarity with supply chain logistics, including sourcing and procurement. • Ability to work with various stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met. • Commitment to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
