Job Title: Material Handler III - Kronos
Job Description

This position involves receiving, locating, and issuing raw materials as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role also includes locating, moving, pulling, packing, and loading frozen products.

ResponsibilitiesOperate all warehouse-related equipment including box lifter, truck reefer, and bailer.Interpret procedures and solve problems.Utilize computer knowledge for various tasks.Drive trucks such as forklifts, walkie riders, straight trucks, and tractor trailers on site.Unload trucks, receive, locate, pick, release, process P.O. inquiries, process packing slips, and deliver production and MRO items.Maintain and repair some warehouse equipment.Perform monthly inventory cycle counts as requested.Handle miscellaneous facility requests such as moving furniture or equipment, delivering copy paper, and light building maintenance such as painting.Locate, transport, and build finished goods loads for shipment, including dropping batches for retentions and moving from unreleased to released inventory.Maintain attendance in accordance with the RLD Attendance Policy.Mandatory overtime required.Essential SkillsAbility to work independently.Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.Good computer skills.Knowledge of standard operating procedures, specifications, and job-specific training materials.Basic math skills.Decision-making abilities based on SOPs and good judgment.Valid driver's license and valid license to operate forklifts.Willingness to obtain a Class C license.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment preferred.Must understand, speak, read, and write English to comply with necessary SOPs, SPECs, job-specific training materials, GMPs, and other manuals.Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs.Visual acuity of 20/40 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required.Frequent lifting up to 70 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds or greater.Constant bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping.Frequent kneeling, squatting, and wrist turning.Occasional crawling, climbing, and pinching.Hearing capability at least 25 dB in 5.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a frozen environment at -25oC for up to five hours per day. The temperature fluctuates between 40oF and 105oF for the remainder of the time.

This is a Contract position based out of Round Lake, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.35 - $26.35/hr.
