Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Security Systems and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. Our mission is to improve the reliability, efficiency, and operating excellence of Walmart’s most critical solutions within InfoSec ecosystems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in protecting our critical infrastructure by conducting robust engineering and design reviews, reducing risks, and ensuring the continued operation of our solutions.

What You'll Do:

Conduct thorough engineering and design reviews to identify and mitigate risks to critical infrastructure.Improve solution health monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and response to issues.Eliminate single points of failure and implement strategies to enhance system resilience.Collaborate with technology experts within Walmart and our vendor community to drive improvements in solution reliability and efficiency.Analyze and reduce the number and severity of impacting events across InfoSec solutions.Develop and implement best practices for operating excellence and continuous improvement.Ensure solution adherence to Walmart policies and standards

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in reliability engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of Information Security principles and practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of both Azure and GCP highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a related field.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.Experience with cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.Knowledge of Walmart’s InfoSec ecosystems and solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2: 7 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
