What you'll do...

The Enterprise Client Experience (ECE) Device Lifecycle team is looking for a customer-obsessed technologist to join the Global Tech Organization as a Senior Manager, Systems & Infrastructure Engineering, working alongside a team of talented technicians and client engineering teams to deliver modern experiences that associates trust to power anytime, anywhere work. 

Leveraging industry-leading technology, the Device Lifecycle team provides a ready-to-use laptop to every new hire by their first day, proactively refreshes laptops of existing associates, and supports with laptop break/fix scenarios, across all of the US Home Office domain.

About Team: 
Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally. 

What you'll do:

Lead of a team of engineers to deliver on the Device Lifecycle Experience to all US Home Office associatesDeeply understand the technical processes related end-user client technology such as Mac OS and Windows OS, including hands-on provisioning and break/fix experience (experience using/working with AutoPilot & Zero-touch, InTune, and JAMF) and support emerging technologies related to device lifecycle experiencesEstablish and enforce engineering and operational excellence best practices within the team, optimizing and maintaining internal team processes through automation and continuous improvementIdentify various KPIs to help measure the team’s productivity and the end-user’s experience in relation to our deliverablesSet, clearly communicate, and track meaningful goals, managing your own deliverables as well as the progress of others; motivating the team to achieve the expected results, and holding them accountable for doing so, redirecting their efforts when necessaryLeverage device health data to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations to improve our device lifecycle strategyCreate relationships with business partners and key stakeholders to build trust and drive successful initiatives, while effectively identifying and initiating changes when necessaryEffectively communicate and influence, while supporting our organization’s ways of working and iterative optimization of processesLeverage high EQ and situational awareness to convey complex information into simplified terms to build stakeholder consensus

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 5 years’experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.Option 2: 7 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

2 years’ supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
