Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management team supporting the Generation Core Engine parts with high technical/quality level. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, leadership skills, and intercultural expertise to successfully align with the organization.

**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Pay Range:** Based on experience
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct supplier qualification and development
+ Collaborate with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally
+ Address nonconformances with conducting containment, RCA, and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures
+ Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable process descriptions and standards
+ Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor of Science Degree required in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline. Master’s Degree desired Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
+ Experience performing supplier qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers
+ Experience in leading projects and running virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment
+ Extensive knowledge in welding and coating. CWI certification preferred.
+ Knowledge of ISO & ASME Standards
