Job Summary

KBR is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our team supporting the USAID NexGen Global Health Supply Chain Program. This full-time role offers a remote work schedule and may require occasional travel. The IT Systems Administrator plays a critical role in managing and supporting the organization’s data systems, including servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices. The position requires maintaining, installing, upgrading, and configuring hardware, software, and information systems while ensuring adherence to security and recovery procedures. This role involves analyzing business processes, monitoring deliverables, and optimizing IT systems in a dynamic environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Administer and support the Integrated Project Management System (IPMS), KBR’s in-house supply chain application, ensuring it effectively meets operational needs.

Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored IT solutions.

Manage system configurations, system testing, and ensure adherence to IT change management processes.

Monitor and manage API integrations with internal and external applications for seamless functionality.

Create and review SQL queries for data extraction and develop detailed reports for internal and external customers.

Coordinate the documentation and implementation of IT processes to ensure smooth system operations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, scope work, and act as a liaison between users and technical teams.

Stay informed on advancements in IT systems and recommend modernization strategies for existing processes.

Lead project reviews and develop strategies for optimization and efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT systems administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Proficiency in SQL query creation and review, with a strong understanding of database relationships.

Experience in supply chain management systems and processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or comparable reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Supply Chain Management.

Advanced technical skills with hands-on experience in API integration and data system optimization.

Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and documentation standards.

Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
