Job Description

The Social Media Analyst (SMA) supports multiple regulated entities within US Bank in the review of off-channel communications, with a focus on social media-related activity. The role contributes to the organization’s culture of compliance through ongoing risk mitigation efforts, and by influencing business practices that minimize regulatory, financial and regulatory risk. The role will uphold applicable policies for the supported entities and will support ongoing internal and external audit requests.

Job expectations include working independently or with minimal guidance, while keeping management informed on significant matters. The role monitors social media channels for adherence to applicable policies. The SMA will interact with registered users on the review of initial social media profiles and ongoing social media activity. As the role will support various regulated entities, the SMA will liaison with other groups to solve complex issues. The SMA will review -analytics and reporting of key metrics. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Three or more years of experience in the broker/dealer industry

Registrations:  FINRA Series 7, and 63 or ability to obtain, and Series 24 is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail, adaptive person, and team player

Analytical, and initiative-taking

Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills

Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Proficient experience using Microsoft Office suite products

Preferred familiarity with social media tools, (i.e., Patrol, Seismic, Hearsay, etc.)

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $84,000.00 - $92,400.00
