Experienced Used Vehicle Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Used Vehicle Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department, ensuring profitability and growth while maintaining our high standards.
Job Overview: The Used Vehicle Director will oversee all aspects of the used vehicle department, including inventory management, appraisals, reconditioning, and sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to increase profitability, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage the sales team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
The Used Vehicle Manager is responsible for the appraisal, purchase, reconditioning, display and merchandising of the used vehicle inventory.
Build & train sales team to ensure they are well versed in the process and manufacturer product knowledge.Walk the lot every day with the sales team to ensure complete knowledge of vehicle prices and overall condition of inventory, advertising, banners and area grounds.Ensure sales goals are attained.Meet and greet all customers early in sales process and stay actively involved throughout process.Determine vehicle purchase terms, and trade values to customers.Secure financing for customers by utilizing professional relationships with lenders.Value used vehicle inventory competitively.Ensure used vehicles are properly reconditioned.Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the used vehicle department.Develop and execute strategies to optimize used vehicle sales and profitability.Conduct vehicle appraisals and manage trade-ins effectively.Work closely with the General Manager to develop competitive pricing strategies and inventory control.Oversee the reconditioning process to ensure a high standard of vehicle presentation.Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to achieve monthly targets.Monitor market trends to maintain a competitive edge in the pre-owned vehicle market.Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the buying process.Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to used vehicle sales.QualificationsProven experience as a Used Vehicle Manager in a high-volume dealership, preferably with luxury brands.Must have a proven track record with an exceptional CSIStrong understanding of the used vehicle market, pricing, and inventory management.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.Previous auto sales management experienceStrong communication and customer engagement skillsAcceptable driving record & Valid Driver's license in your state of residence.This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off: Department Net Bonuses based on: Manufacturer Approvability, Total Units, Flat Rate Hours.The Annual Estimated Earnings Range is: $100,000.00 to $160,000.00
