RESPONSIBILITIES

The User Experience team is seeking a UX AnalystReporting to the Director of User Experience, the UX Analyst will be responsible for learning about usability principles, assisting with and conducting project usability evaluations, coordinating and executing user & community engagements, supporting usability analysis and reports to generate actionable insights, and developing User Experience learning content and curriculumTheir work will lead to improvements in the quality and digital wellbeing of our Emory user baseThis person will work collaboratively with other teams across other departments on data analysis, knowledge sharing, and project developmentSupport the organization's vision, mission and goals by assisting with comprehensive approaches to project evaluations and data analysis and reporting of user experienceServe as a User Experience liaison to informatics, design, support, and training teams to help them understand the baseline and change potential of their user bases experienceSupport the design and execution of user experience evaluations, including evaluation draft, preparation, build, and execution (including end user engagement)Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders and community champions to perpetuate a culture of user-centric design and analysis among Emory's digital effortsSupport the development, modification, and validation of new metrics as neededDrive user-centric education forward through continued learning and teach-backs, along with opportunities for large audience presentationsContinuously improve upon the User Experience program through program workshops, retrospectives, and subject matter researchPerform other duties as required or assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

1-2 years in user research, application design, quality control or support (preferably with Epic, or other healthcare IS system)1-2 years of hands-on experience in analytics/reportingA strong interest in usability and user experience principlesBachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in human computer interaction, computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent related experienceA minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in clinical, business, or other healthcare operational areas or 3 years no degree Additional Details
