JOB SUMMARY
To make sure all guests have a pleasant and positive experience attending a show at the Eldorado. To ensure that all guest’s questions are answered and to maintain a clean and respectable atmosphere for everyone involved
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)
To seat guests and make sure all problems are handled in a quick and professional manner To ensure the safety of all guests To make sure the showroom is presentable To direct guests to various locations To deal with challenging situations Setting up and tearing down the lobby area, putting all glasses back on the bar, throwing away all garbage and bottles in lobby and selling and restocking retail Usher non-show events sponsored by other departments or organizations Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service, Have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Ability to deal with customers on a daily basis. Must be presentable. Must possess good communication skills—English language is must, other languages a plus. High School diploma or equivalentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
Frequent standing/walking/sitting for extended periods Work area is indoors and subject to variable temperatures May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights Ability to stand and remain alert for entire shift. Ability to go up and down stairs. Ability to react quickly in an emergency situation. Ability to deal with all types of guests with all types of problems in a friendly and professional mannerGUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
