THE JOB:

As an Usher, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Review tickets to ensure correct event informationGreet guests with eye contact, a smile and a friendly, welcoming greetingAdvise supervisor and/or management of all unusual customer concernsMaintain awareness of crowd situationsMaintain a working relationship with all departments, staff and vendors associated with the venueProvide any post event feedback to supervisor and/or management upon requestRecognize, resolve, and/or report issues and safety concerns that could contribute to guest, staff, and/or vendor experienceRetain event information provided during pre and post event briefing(s) as well as information provided regarding the property’s restaurants, services, shows and events

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Maintain a friendly, polite demeanor, effective listening abilities with strong judgment skillsAble to observe and remember details and to follow directions effectivelyAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentialityAbility to work under pressureAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMaintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
