Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working from the school office in Salt Lake City (zip 84106), the Part-Time Test Administrator is responsible for observing, proctoring, and monitoring students during examinations and assessments. Test administrators discuss the procedures and rules before the test, responding to any inquiries and concerns the examinees may have. They provide the tools and materials needed for the assessment. A test administrator must be highly observant and possess strong organizational skills. They will also perform troubleshooting for technical issues.
Responsibilities
The Test Administrator position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment. In this position, you will be required to:
Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment Check-in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process Administer testing including accommodations and makeups Proctor candidates while testing in person or via webcam with remote exams Monitor testers with vigilance to prevent and identify any academic or testing violation of testing procedures Professionally respond to violations per applicable policies Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues Ensure there is no secondary technology in testing area such as cellphones, smart watches, etc. Ensure no one else is in the testing area Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing materials, test logs, and other test documents Office-related tasks including but not limited to records management, generating reports, assisting school administrators, and scheduling meetings Other tasks as assignedBased on potential student enrollment changes, this Term of Project position will work until the end of the 2024-2025 school year. At that time, the school and department leadership will evaluate the status of this position and could extend it for the following semester or school year as they deem necessary.
Qualifications
Must be able to report to the office in Salt Lake City, UT Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred Experience proctoring exams is highly preferred Must be flexible in work hours and days Computer proficiency including the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues Experience using webcam Beginner to intermediate experience in Google Suite and Adobe Products Must be able to sit for long periods of time and also escort candidates to and from testing room. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation. Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance. Attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
