Required Shift:
8 Hour Day Shift
Hours: 6am - 2:30 pm
Work Every Other Weekend:
Week 1: Tuesday – Saturday
Week 2: Sunday – Thursday
(Shift may vary based on business needs)
Job Purpose:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the operation of our boilers, chillers, air compressors, and fire protection systems. They will have to perform daily rounds and tests to inspect and record data of all departmental equipment to assure safe operation.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED18+ months in an industrial maintenance related roleFundamental understanding of building commercial utilities operations (Ex: steam, air, boiler, electrical and/or refrigeration).Understands Electrical conceptsPhysical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs)Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs)Ability to work at heights off a ladder, scissor lift, boom lift or scaffolding, climb stairsAbility to stand and / or work on feet for extended periodsAble to read, write, speak and understand EnglishPreferred Qualifications:
Technical Degree/Trade Certification3+ years of experience required in a boiler operations role3+ years’ experience in an industrial maintenance roleWhat will be your Key Responsibilities?
This role focuses on steam, compressed air, and refrigeration utilities.Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance throughout the site and Utilities Dept.Inspect equipment and determine technical solutions to problems and implementMonitor operating conditions, meters, and gaugesRecord meter and gauge readings and operational dataPerform regular maintenance on equipment.Record maintenance activities in SAPAny ad hoc tasks & respond to emergenciesMember of ERP (e,g., Fire Brigade, Spill Response Team, etc.)Allergies: if you have an allergy to soy lecithin, please let the recruiter know in your initial screen.
