Description:
The Utility Coordinator will focus on coordinating the relocation of utilities and services due to construction projects or infrastructure improvements. This role involves planning, communication with utility companies, and ensuring that relocations are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Attend project scoping meetings to provide insights and recommendations related to utilities, ensuring effective planning and minimizing conflicts. Assist project managers by supplying critical project details to help develop scope and fee proposals. Oversee the coordination of utility adjustments for roadway and utility improvement projects, ensuring seamless integration into the overall project plan. Analyze Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) data and design plans to identify and resolve utility conflicts promptly, preventing project delays. Prepare and submit Utility Agreement Assemblies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Evaluate utility relocation plans for constructability, ensuring they do not conflict with other utility relocations and meet project requirements. Schedule and facilitate utility coordination meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned on project status.
