Job Description
The Drafter will support the Power Delivery Substation Department projects. The role involves performing and directing others in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations. This includes creating one-line diagrams, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selecting substation equipment, writing equipment specifications, developing proposals, estimating construction costs, and project scheduling. The Drafter will also be responsible for document control and creating detailed drawings from Excel Energy.

The position follows a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, with a preference for 4 days. Employees enjoy 2 weeks of PTO and 6 holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
