THE JOB:

As a Utility Houseperson at The Cosmopolitan, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $26.1526

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Clean carpets, upholstery, glass surfaces, and windows; polish marble and rearrange furniture in guest rooms as requested.

Perform thorough dusting of high and hard-to-reach areas.

Move beds away from walls to clean behind headboards.

Deliver and restock various linens, including sheets, pillowcases, and terry items, in Guest Room Attendant locker rooms.

Operate bonnet machines, extractors, and furniture cleaning machines (CFR) to remove stains from chairs, couches, and other furnishings.

Safely clean and disinfect biohazard areas.

Conduct general cleaning of guest rooms and hallways to maintain a pristine environment.

Identify and report any torn carpet, damaged wall finishes, or furniture in need of repair.

Remove marks, dirt, and dust from baseboards to ensure a well-maintained appearance.

Bonnet clean 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms daily to uphold cleanliness standards.

Safely install and remove air purifiers and ozone machines, following all safety protocols.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing, and extraction equipment.

6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in general cleaning.

Knowledgeable of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Experience working in a similar resort setting.
