**Job Title: Utility Laborer** **Job Description** Utility personnel will report to the Extrusion Supervisor and serve as an integral part of their department. They will ensure the safe handling of their aluminum product post-extrusion, tending the lines, racking, packing, or moving bins by forklift. **Responsibilities** + Ensure safe handling of aluminum products post-extrusion. + Tend the lines, rack, pack, or move bins by forklift. + Operate sit-down forklifts efficiently. + Perform heavy labor tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing/production background + Experience in labor-intensive roles + Ability to read a tape measure + Sit-down forklift experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with general labor, production, tape measure, forklift, construction, hand tools, and packing. **Why Work Here?** Our company has a family feel with a large focus on safety. Weekly pay for the first 6 months! **Work Environment** These openings support the 3rd shift that is being established but will require training on 1st shift for approximately 6 weeks. The 1st shift operates from 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday, and the 3rd shift from 10:00pm-6:00am Monday-Friday. By January 1, you will transition to the night shift and receive a $1 differential for 3rd shift. The plant operates with a lot of mandatory overtime, averaging 48 hours a week, with occasional Saturday work required. Responsibilities are carried out in both indoor settings and in the plant, an unregulated environment experiencing extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
