This role has an entry pay rate of $35.57 per hour.

Under general supervision of the Supervisor, the Operator Trainee is engaged in operating equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, delivering petroleum and maintaining related records at the Eagle Point Tank Farm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: Coordinates product movement with Dispatching Department and shippers. Performs quality control, identifies product changes as required. Performs utility notification duties during off peak hours and weekends as required. Must write legibly, maintain neat appearance, be accurate in math, and maintain a good safety attitude and record. Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence. Must be dependable, able to work with little or no supervision. Must be able to perform accurate calculations with use of a calculator. Must be able to learn to operate personal computers and communications equipment.  Must reside within 45 miles of reporting location. The described job duties are a framework in which work will be assigned. This description is not inclusive of all responsibilities or job assignments. This position will require extended off-hour duties at times.

High school diploma or GED Working Conditions:

Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally Driving, walking, and standing frequently Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment Occasional overnight travel may be required Must be able to respond to emergency situations Must be able to climb tanks in excess of 70 feet.
