Job Title: Utility Operator
Job Description

A Machine Tender is responsible for the set-up and troubleshooting through to resolution of the Fabrication Department Roll Forming (Metals) Machines, Punches Units, and Embosser Units.

ResponsibilitiesRead, understand, and interpret blueprints ensuring continuity of roll forming machines.Observe the machine operation to detect defects and machine malfunction(s).Ensure the quality of the profile to the finished product when setting up the line (adjusting, change over, tooling change).Perform minor fixes inclusive of oiling machines, replacing dies, and replacing tooling.Use measuring tools such as protractors, micrometers, calipers, and rulers.Assist with material handling, inventory, unloading, and production lines.Keep a clean work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills2 years experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in roll forming troubleshooting capacity.Excellent communication skills for this hands-on role.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.Minimum of a High School Diploma.Safety conscience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with material handling, inventory, and general labor.Experience in construction is a plus.Why Work Here?

This is a manufacturing facility that is not climate controlled, so it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.75
