DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Utility Plant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant. You will supervise staff involved in the day-to-day operation of equipment, as well as develop and implement maintenance and repair programs to keep the plant running smoothly. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying areas where operations can be improved and making recommendations for changes. Safety is of utmost importance in this role, and you will be expected to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures and standards. You will also provide technical guidance to plant employees, plan and schedule work, and manage the procurement of necessary materials and fuel for plant operations.
