Job Purpose

Utility Supervisor is responsible for supporting factory efficiency by managing all utilities, including the boiler, water treatment, air and compressor systems, and facilities. This role ensures that production processes meet quality requirements, environmental compliance, and safety standards.

As a leader, Utility Supervisor is tasked with leading, training, and managing the subordinate team. This includes identifying development areas, analyzing root causes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

Leading the team to manage the operation and reliability of boilers, water treatment systems, chillers, coolant systems, wastewater treatment systems, facility buildings, and other relevant utility systemsManaging materials & stocks for machine spare parts and general use, ensuring control for project proposals and maintenance budgetsSupervise law and procedure compliances, materials, time, cost, and manpower for preventive maintenanceLead sustainability projects across the site, achieving goals in terms of time, cost, safety, and quality without environmental impact.Develop, coach and mentor subordinates, focusing on their career progression.               Monitoring and improving utility efficiency & maintenance cycleDrive, analyze and improve factory utility consumption to support cost saving and production efficiency and establish new solutions for consumption improvement across the site

Candidate Criteria

Skill & Qualification

Knowledge on Boiler, Chiller and Wastewater treatment is a mustUnderstanding control and programing system and be able to initiate improvementUnderstanding digitalization and utilities data analysisGood command of both written and spoken in EnglishGood in presentation skillProficiencies in Microsoft Office program, and relate programsProficiencies in SAP, Power BI, and data visualization is a plusEnergetic, working under dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor degree of Electrical or Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering fieldExperience in engineering construction, maintenance and/or utility management1-2 years of experience in leadership role or team management is preferred1-2 years of experience in digitalization is preferredExperience in Boiler, Chiller and Wastewater treatment management is a mustExperience in process improvement related to digitalization is a plusFamiliar with a variety of concepts, practices, processes, and technology of FMCG manufacturing
