Our Tucson, AZ location is looking to hire a Utility Technician! This position is responsible for assisting mechanics/technicians in dismantling basic motors.  The Utility Technician assists mechanics/technicians in the reassemble of basic motors and acts as a floater wherever needed. This position will also clean and supply parts to various departments. 

 

Here's What You'll Do:

Assist Motor Technicians with the dismantling of motors.Transport parts as needed between departments.Assist Motor Technicians with reassembly of motors.Provide general maintenance support in Utility Department.Assist mechanics/technicians and other departments in skilled and non-skilled duties as directed by shop management.

Here's What You'll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to one (1) year of hands-on mechanical experience preferred.Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions.Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards.Ability to use various hand tools, including electric and pneumatic.Ability to operate overhead cranes, fork lift trucks, and other equipment.
