Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Utility Technician/Delivery Driver who wants more than just a job. This role involves essential preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of our facilities machinery to keep our operations efficient. You'll also deliver our military spec and commercial shipboard cable products, representing our company with professionalism and punctuality.

Schedule: 7:30AM-4:30PM Mon to Fri

 

 

What you’ll do

Perform routine preventative maintenance per manufacturer specificationsDiagnose and troubleshoot machinery and make repairs when necessaryFamiliarize with the operation and upkeep of company equipmentLoad, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely mannerReview orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfiedAbide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving recordOperate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etcPrepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materialsDeliver or route materials to departments, using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting binsPerform shipping and receiving duties as neededLog local deliveries into logbook for accountability and record keepingRecognize any safety concerns and report them to management when needed  All other duties as necessary; including working in production when needed

 

What you’ll bring

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Mechanical ability sufficient to understand the operation of equipmentOne to three years of related experienceAbility to operate machineryAbility to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix machineryAbility to operate a forkliftMust have excellent and clean driving recordExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to move/lift up to 50 lbsTime managementCommitment to safetyExperience with Oracle or comparable ERP system beneficial but not required
