Utilization Management Specialist

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking an Utilization Management Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Utilization Management Specialist
**Location:** Meridian, ID
**Pay Range:** $25.27 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Coordinate and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence such as referrals, prior authorizations and provider reconsiderations.
+ Review member eligibility and benefit structure for requested referrals or prior authorizations.
+ Initializes, routes, and complete, as appropriate, request for services.
+ Review documentation and request additional information needed to complete review of requested services.
+ Enter and maintain documentation per policy and procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2 years relevant experience.
+ Familiar with ICD10 and CPT coding.
+ Medical terminology.
+ Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
+ Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
