**Description** Acts in the absence of specific hospital administrative personnel and department managers. Assists in the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating delivery of patient care. Supports administrative direction to development and evaluation of all nursing personnel; assists in maintaining operational aspects of hospital departments. Reports to a Nursing Manager or Director.
