Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a UX Consultant. Summary: Accelerating delivery while embedding consistency and quality are key objectives to improving ISD delivery. This is only possible with the broad adoption of a knowledge management platform that is intuitive and makes it easy to share, discover, and re-use IP. Today, our knowledge management platform misses that mark from the perspective of end-users within ISD, and needs to be addressed with the help of a UX expert. Background and Context: Delivery IP and Delivery Acceleration have been identified as two of the marquee pillars for driving success withing ISD. Knowledge Management is an essential function to support these initiatives as it is the cornerstone of driving IP discovery and re-use, and therefore an increase in speed, quality, and consistency in delivery. Objectives: * Create a knowledge management platform experience that is intuitive and streamlines IP identification * Simplify IP the discovery and identification process * Encourage and drive IP re-use in delivery * Foster a space for consistent collaboration and dissemination of IP The UX Designer will be responsible for conducting UX research sessions with a variety of target end-users. The activities of this workstream will include: * Understanding if the users have adopted the new system; If not, why? * What would a knowledge management platform the is intuitive, simple, and value-adding look like (with an emphasis on IP discovery and re-use) * What would the overall user flow (e.g. user stories) look like for you? * What information is required for you to effectively search for IP and know if it is useful (quickly)? * Creating wireframes to visualize this user experience * Feedback loops on the wireframes with the interviewees
