About The role:We are seeking a UX Design Manager to lead our small but dynamic UX design team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered experiences in the healthcare space. You will oversee the UX design team and workload, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and designers to deliver high-quality designs, and partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our digital products. You will:● Be a hands-on UX designer, strategist, tester, and (nice to have you also can write UX copy)● Define and champion a UX design vision aligned with company goals and user needs.● Ensure design consistency and quality by maintaining and evolving design standards and systems, etc.● Collaborate with Product Managers to understand business goals, prioritize features, and define project scope.● Partner with Engineering teams to ensure feasible implementation of designs and maintain high design fidelity.● Stay updated on design trends, healthcare industry standards, and accessibility guidelines to inform and improve UX practices.● Lead a small team of UX designers to deliver high-quality designs that meet user needs and business objectives.● Manage team workload and allocate resources effectively across projects.● Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative, empathetic and outcome oriented.● Bring both UX and Customer Experience (CX) frameworks and to the role to bring together digital and offline experiences for customers. You bring:● Proven examples designing and launching customer-friendly healthcare products, services, and experiences.● A deep understanding and empathy for helping customers access and use their healthcare benefits through intuitive and innovative UX practices.● Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).● 7+ years of UX design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.● Strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and ability to lead successful projects.● Proven experience managing and mentoring design teams.● Expertise in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.● Expertise in designing testing methodologies and using testing tools such as UserTesting.● Experience and comfort reporting to Executive Leadership Team members where appropriate● Demonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both a short-term and long-term strategic plan● Strong understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and accessibility best practices (e.g., WCAG).● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design audiences.

The salary range for this position is $132,000 - $220,000 annually. Numerous factors including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. will be considered when determining compensation.
