As a UX Designer at Amazon Global, you will have significant impacts on Amazon’s international retail expansion and ongoing shopping experience enhancements. You will work directly with Product, Engineering Tech, and Business Executives to bring the best shopping experiences to customers worldwide. The ideal candidate loves to visualize an experience in the abstract, dive into customer research and data, break down complex use cases, and drive the vision into execution. You will masterfully combine detail and storytelling to sell your ideas and watch millions of diverse customers interact with your work.
Key job responsibilities
• Create world-class, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings
• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analytics tools. Analyze user data to derive insights and identify pain points
• Collaborate with Amazon.com UX designers to evolve existing patterns for new locales
• Present design work to the UX team, product team, Amazon.com executives, and external partners for review and feedback
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Previous experience designing e-commerce apps and sites

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
