UX Designer, Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores
Amazon.com
The Role:
As a UX Designer for Amazon's Grocery initiatives, you will own end-to-end online and in-store grocery experiences. This role is a stand-out opportunity for a design leader looking to use their design chops and rapid experimentation skills to solve real-world customer and associate needs, and uncover new opportunities (gathering data to validate your recommendations) along the way.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver viable designs for new programs and features from concept to deployment. Includes all current and future work across all proprietary business applications for managing a technology-enabled retail experience.
- Work with engineering partners to create solutions that meet a high customer experience bar and fit within technology requirements.
- Deliver detailed design documentation and refined design standards to developers and partners.
- Balance design with retail operational objectives, resulting in extraordinary customer experiences.
- Work with managers to prioritize your work and execute designs across the portfolio and within time constraints.
- Solicit and accept feedback, weigh inputs and priorities, and take part in constructive dialogue to resolve healthy debates.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You know how to design within the physical and ergonomic constraints of a retail store.
- You are scrappy, agile, and full of initiative.
- You delight in finding ways to bring joy to your customers through your work.
- You love crafting groundbreaking experiences that improve customers' lives.
- You are a talented collaborator who leads by example to bring out the best contributions from others.
- You like diving into unknown territory to help invent simple, elegant solutions to complex design problems, often with no clear precedent in today’s world.
- You have an exceptional portfolio delivered projects across customer- and business-facing applications.
- You are a principled design thinker who envisions and crafts holistic solutions for your users.
