UX Designer - B2B Portal Overhaul (Atlanta, GA)
Contract: 6+ Months (Potential for Long-Term Extension)
Hours: 40 hours/week (3 days onsite in Atlanta, GA)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate UX Designer to lead a major overhaul of our core B2B portal. This is a critical project focused on enhancing scalability, optimizing user functionality, and creating a best-in-class experience for our enterprise clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and directly impacting the success of our business. This is an ongoing contract position with a minimum initial commitment of six months, with strong potential for long-term extension and growth within the team. The role requires a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days per week onsite in our Atlanta office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the UX vision: Drive the user-centered design process for our B2B portal, from initial research and ideation to prototyping and final implementation.
+ Conduct user research: Employ a variety of research methods (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing) to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows. Translate these insights into actionable design improvements.
+ Design intuitive user flows and wireframes: Develop clear and concise user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design solutions and interactions.
+ Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes: Produce visually appealing and interactive mockups and prototypes that demonstrate the look and feel of the redesigned portal.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
+ Iterate and refine designs: Continuously test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
+ Maintain design consistency: Establish and maintain design guidelines and style systems to ensure a consistent user experience across the platform.
+ Champion user-centered design: Advocate for the user throughout the design process and promote a user-centric culture within the organization.
+ Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B SaaS or enterprise-level portal design experience.
+ Proven ability to lead UX projects from concept to completion.
+ Expertise in user research methodologies and the ability to translate research insights into design solutions.
+ Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
+ Strong understanding of interaction design principles and information architecture.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Experience working in an Agile environment.
+ Experience with scalable design systems and component libraries.
+ A passion for creating user-centered designs.
+ Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
Bonus Points:
+ Experience designing for complex B2B workflows.
+ Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
+ Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
