What You Will Do We are seeking a talented and user-focused UX Designer to join our growing team based in Ottawa. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing intuitive and seamless user experiences, leveraging research, wireframing, and prototyping to create user-centered solutions. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of interaction design, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and visually appealing designs. + Design and optimize user experiences for cybersecurity applications, ensuring usability, accessibility, and alignment with user needs. + Conduct user research, journey mapping, and personal development to inform design decisions and enhance the over user experience. + Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively. + Apply interaction design principles to craft intuitive workflows and seamless navigation across platforms and products. + Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centric design solutions. + Conduct and participate in usability testing sessions, analyzing feedback to refine and iterate on designs. + Contribute to and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all products. + Define and document UX patterns, components, and best practices to support cohesive and accessible user experience. What You Bring To Forescout + Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, or UX design. + 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role. + Excellent portfolio showcasing user-centered design work, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. + Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD). + Excellent knowledge of UX principles and methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively with UX designers. + Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale. + Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user interactions and design issues. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
