UX Designer
Job Title: UX Designer Location: Onsite (5 days) and Remote (5 days) - alternating Contract Duration: 1 year w2 contract (with possibility to extend) About the Role: Our AIRLINE client is seeking a UX Designer to join our internal application team. This role is pivotal in redesigning and reimagining our travel site, and developing brand new applications. You will provide UX expertise to our team, working closely with front-end developers who excel in coding but need additional support in UX design. Will partner with product managers in an agile scrum environment. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the design of front-end interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience. + Redesign and reimagine the travel site aligning with the aesthetics and functionality of it. + Develop new applications from the ground up. + Attend scrum calls and participate in the agile process. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into design specifications. + Conduct journey mapping and oversee the entire design process. + Utilize Figma for design creation and FigJam for collaborative sessions. + Present designs and concepts to stakeholders and upper management. + Ensure responsive design across various devices including desktops, Android, and iPhones, etc. Qualifications: + 5+ years of UX enterprise experience + Strong understanding of design thinking and UX principles. + Proficiency in Figma and experience with FigJam. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to advocate for design choices. + Versatility in working with different teams and tools. + Experience as a full stack designer, capable of seeing projects through from research to final design. + Confident in presenting to stakeholders and speaking to users. + A robust portfolio showcasing applied design thinking, rationale behind design choices, and the design process. Personality Traits: + Strong advocate for design choices. + Comfortable working in a large, opinionated team. + Hardworking and dedicated to designing for the user.
