The AWS Kumo UX team is looking for a highly experienced and motivated mixed-methods UX researcher to raise the bar on UX research at Amazon. This role will be responsible for designing and conducting UX research primarily in the early stages of the design and product cycle, with particular focus on generative research to understand user needs, customer journey mapping, understanding pain points with existing solutions, and evaluation of early concepts and prototypes.
Key job responsibilities
-Conduct generative and evaluative research using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods to produce actionable insights
-Synthesize research insights and distill them into compelling narratives that frame problems, illuminate the customer needs, and lead to relevant and actionable ideation spaces
-Guide cross-functional partners on the execution of research studies and the delivery of results
-Advocate for innovative ideas that will delight our customers, building cross-functional alignment and driving decision-making
-Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders across varied levels
