Shift start times vary: Your shift will begin between 2:30am - 6:00am (8-10 hour shifts)

Starting pay: $15/hr.

What You'll Do as: Vaccination Technician:

Ability to handle physical workloadAbility to work well in teamsHandling and interacting with live poultryOngoing presence of farm-related smells and foul odorsProlonged exposure to dry and dusty environment, PPE providedGrip, grasp, or twist using hands and wristsLift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.Bend and stoop repetitively throughout the shiftStanding for extended periods of timeStrong sense of personal responsibilityAbility to work unsupervised and self-motivatedTakes accountability for individual performancePoultry experience preferred but not required

Work Experience

What You'll Do as: Vaccination Technician:

Administer vaccines (Injection, spray, drinking water)Bird handling (Bending and stooping)Move birds (Loading and unloading)Bird weighing (Grading)Washing and disinfecting all equipmentMaintain a clean and orderly work areaAdhere to all Biosecurity, Animal Welfare, and Safety Program policiesEnsuring the biosecurity and cleanliness of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc. is a major dutyAbility to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkersOther duties as assigned by supervisorDue to Biosecurity this is a shower In/Out facility
