**VACUUM TECHICIAN $22/HR TO $30/HR START ASAP!!!** **Job Description** We are looking for a Vacuum Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with several bake stations processing ion pumps, ensuring they meet our specifications. This role requires the ability to work with high temperatures and high voltages. A keen attention to detail and a high level of safety practices are essential. The candidate will perform troubleshooting on both ion pumps and equipment and must be proficient in using equipment such as hy-potter, pinch-off tools, rough pumps, and turbos. Additionally, the candidate will work with UHV (ultra-high vacuum) stations and understand RGA (residual gas analyzers) graphs and data. They will work closely with engineering to continually improve processes and products, complete the assembly of various ion pumps, and read complex drawings for troubleshooting using a DVM. **Responsibilities** + Work with several bake stations processing ion pumps. + Ensure pumps meet our specifications. + Work with high temperatures and high voltages. + Maintain a high level of safety practices and attention to detail. + Perform troubleshooting on ion pumps and equipment. + Use equipment such as hy-potter, pinch-off tools, rough pumps, and turbos. + Work with UHV stations and understand RGA graphs and data. + Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and products. + Complete assembly of various ion pumps ranging from 3L to 1200L. + Read and interpret complex drawings. + Troubleshoot using a DVM. **Essential Skills** + Electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting + Proficiency in reading complex drawings + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with high voltage + Ability to troubleshoot high voltage systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent + UHV experience preferred but not mandatory + High level of attention to detail + Ability to work with multiple teams and provide support as needed + Strong computer skills + Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a state-of-the-art facility and equipment, conveniently located near Canterbury Casino.
