Valet Attendant

Position Summary

Responsible for greeting casino and resort guests in a warm and friendly manner as their vehicle is accepted or returned to them after their visit. Safely Park and retrieve vehicles with standard stick (manual) or automatic transmissions.

 Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Will greet arriving and departing guests assisting them to and from their accommodations. Quickly evaluates condition of vehicle, completes valet ticket, and attaches ticket to the customer’s keys. Properly secures vehicle and keys. Enters data into CPVS system. Park and retrieve guest vehicles following appropriate valet policies and procedures. Ensure that the leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments. Assist with room moves, special luggage deliveries and/or pulls, and attend the Lobby and front door. Must be prepared to give knowledgeable recommendations for the property/ city events, and outlets. Communicate and partner with other departments as applicable in supporting the guest experience. Performs other duties as needed or required. Must attend and complete are required departmental training. Works collaboratively to deliver the highest degree of service to all guests. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.

 Additional Responsibilities

A quality guest service experience is an essential component for all Team members working at the Pueblo of Sandia particularly those positions assigned to work in all public areas.

 Key Performance Indicators

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with  all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Must have the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to follow instructions. Good driving record. Knowledge of local area. Ability to drive a vehicle equipped with standard transmission. Ability to retrieve customer’s vehicle safely and quickly.

   Education And Experience

Required

Must be at least 19 years of age. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles.

Note:  Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience. 

License/Certifications/Registrations

Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.  .

The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Activities occur inside and outside. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. Noise:   There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level. Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving vehicles, exposure to high heat or extreme cold.
