Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Validation and Reliability in Mahwah, New Jersey. As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing reliability and maintenance strategies across our manufacturing plant, serving as an expert in creating standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic asset reliability and maintenance programs, ensuring consistency in operations.
• Collaborate with plant leadership, engineering teams, and external partners to improve the performance of physical assets.
• Design and implement reliability strategies including Asset Criticality Assessments, Proactive Maintenance strategies, and Spare Parts analyses.
• Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems to enhance asset performance.
• Align proactive maintenance strategies with asset criticality to ensure efficient processes.
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis for significant or recurring failures, implementing strategy improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in CMMS, and analyze CMMS data to reduce maintenance costs.
• Drive the implementation of effective workflow processes including work request management, planning, scheduling, execution, and documentation.
• Lead TPM events to improve equipment performance and identify preventative maintenance improvements.
• Facilitate the achievement of organizational objectives by working closely with local plant engineering, operations, and facilities maintenance counterparts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
+ Expertise in reliability engineering principles, with experience in root cause failure analysis (RCFA), asset criticality assessments, and FMEA.
+ Proficiency using CMMS for maintenance and reporting purposes.
+ Strong analytical skills, supported by experience with KPIs, dashboard creation, and data-driven decision-making.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive system improvements.
+ A track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives, including TPM and workflow optimization.
