We are seeking a Validation Engineer to lead and execute the verification and validation of processes, machines, and equipment to meet company procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and qualifying new tooling and equipment, as well as new test methods. This role involves performing characterization evaluations for WIP components and assisting with production problems, ensuring that all manufacturing equipment meets the required standards.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and execute IQ/OQ protocols.
+ Document and report engineering evaluations performed.
+ Study processes to implement improvements.
+ Ensure execution of validation strategy within a timeline manner.
+ Develop and qualify new tooling and equipment.
+ Develop and qualify new test methods.
+ Perform characterization evaluations for WIP components.
+ Assist with production problems.
+ Identify potential business-related issues or opportunities.
+ Receive general guidance and instruction on new projects.
+ Work with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices and ensure that all manufacturing equipment meets the required standard.
+ Modify and enhance equipment as needed.
+ Develop highly capable manufacturing processes for existing products in manufacturing.
+ Ensure robust transition from product development through full rate production ensuring process stabilization.
+ Actively participate in complaint investigations.
+ Interface with all internal organizations supporting new product development, introductions, technologies, and supporting systems.
+ Support production non-conformances.
Essential Skills
+ Engineering Degree in any discipline.
+ 1+ year of experience within Quality or Validation Engineering.
+ 1+ year of experience within manufacturing environment

Work Environment
This role is based in an onsite environment, including cleanroom and control room facilities. Time will be spent both in the office and on the production floor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing medical device group investing heavily in new product development and facilities.
