Monitor the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies and correct them. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:Monitor SOP’s, SSOP’s, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulationsWork with USDA and present records to them at the agency’s requestReview records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracyAid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigationsWork closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficienciesWork closely with production associates in monitoring product packaging and labeling, and correcting any deficienciesAudit inbound product and fill out reports with findingsPrint inserts or labels, being held accountable for label information accuracyAssist in other duties as needed Requirements:Problem solving skillsAble to work in an independent environmentExperience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferredReliableAttention to detailAble to Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends when neededComfortable working in a cold environmentAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to work first shift 04:30 am - 14:30 and second shift from 14:30 - 00:30, occasionally overtime the last day of the week.
