YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Engage with operational teams (capability clusters) within a plant (inter alia: materials management, detailed scheduling, production, QC/QA, etc.) to ensure the understanding of the purpose of the product, impact on patients, contribution to the business, key strategic priorities and focus areas for continuous improvementEnsure achievement of all product & plant related supply targets: COGS, Inventory, Supply volumes, Lead times, Scrapping etc.Work with operational teams (capability clusters) in the plant to drive continuous improvement activities within PSS framework (scrapping, rework, retesting, over processing, movement, storage times etc.)Proactively identify and jointly (with the local capability pool representatives) resolve operational cross-product trade-offs and supply issues leading to compromises on aligned objectives within the plantCommunicate effectively towards Product Leadership Team in case support or guidance is needed to resolve potential conflicts of targets (within or cross-product related)Collaborate with other Value Stream Leads to optimize overall performance under the frame defined by product objectivesEnsure the plant value stream map is complete and accurateCreate and maintain a local product community 

  
WHAT YOU BRING
 

Master´s or diploma degree, preferably in supply chain, business, finance/ economics, or engineering in conjunction with long-term of work experience preferred in supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrate high self-awareness as well as system awarenessPro-actively ask for and give feedbackDemonstrate strategic thinking as well as good business- and external trends insightsDefine and deliver highest pipeline-, team- and organizational-impact-outcomesBe close to the customer and co-create solutions for their needsAct, learn fast and evolve: Work in 90-days cycles, apply learnings fast and continually developDemonstrate a passion for visionary leadership, adeptness in resolving conflicts in alignment with Bayer's best interests, and a commitment to empowering teams while being bold and willing to take calculated riskAbility to create and maintain a local product-specific community & embrace the DSO principles of product and customer centricity within the context of the plantStrong financial acumenAbility to drive prioritization and operational cross-product trade-off within the plant portfolio, build business cases and ensure the overall product objectives are meet Formal certification in Lean methodologies and/or Six Sigma experience is an advantage
