Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Value Stream Leader is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and hands-on involvement in their areas of responsibility. They will plan and execute daily activities to ensure both internal and external customer demands are met. Additionally, they will drive continuous improvement of SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity) in their area using VES (Veralto Enterprise System) tools and develop a strong VES culture and team.
This position is part of the Operations team in Loveland, Colorado.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Daily supervision of staff to ensure internal and external customer demands are met.
+ Manage projects and set direction for areas of responsibility
+ Leads teams in meeting SQDIP goals through the use of the VES Tools.
+ •racks each team’s achievement of Standard Work and ensures the team records allimprovement opportunities.
+ Responsible for creating and executing data-driven action plans to improve standard work & SQDIP performance.
+ Works with area planning staff to evaluate customer orders versus available labor andmaterials to develop a weekly and daily build/ship plan and meet on-time delivery objectives.
+ Manage labor availability to complete workload and work to enhance cross-training forincreased labor flexibility
+ Enlists all associates in the commitment to excellence by communicating appropriate business information in a timely manner.
+ Acts as liaison between associates and Operations Manager.
+ Works with technical staff to pursue process improvement activities
+ Evaluates Associates' performance, development plans and merit recommendations. Coaches, trains, and counsels associates to improve performance.
+ Direct reports are primarily hourly associates and may include exempt staff (supervisors or technical professionals).
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ 3-5 yrs leadership experience (project teams, staff supervision, etc.) with BA/BS Degree; Physical Science, Engineering Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ 1-3 years’ experience with Chemistry background
+ Data and fact-based problem-solving skills
+ Solid data analysis/ and reporting skills
+ Lean manufacturing experience (Kaizens, Kanban, root cause counter measures, etc.)
+ Experience with Inventory management
+ Availability to cover off shift work as needed

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $75000 - $94000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
