Overview:
Linde LGUS is currently seeking a Control Valve Specialist that will be based at our Deer Park, TX, Whiting, IN, Geismar, LA, or Buffalo, NY location. This position will report to the HYCO South Maintenance/TAR Manager and will work with the Maintenance organization to support the safe reliable operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain documentation such as EAM/Procal work orders, service reports and equipment calibration records as required by standards and procedures.Assemble, test, and troubleshoot, remove, and install valves and other equipment per applicable codes and standards per manufacturer and/or Linde requirements.Perform calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with internal quality procedures.Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.Project Management duties for large valve/PSA projects. (budgeting, manpower loading, securing funding).Schedule and perform activities related to the operation and maintenance of pneumatics/instrumentation, on control valves.Support and improve PM program for valve fleet including high cycle control valves, critical control valves, specialty service valves.Support of startup / shutdown and operations of process plant equipmentEnsure spare parts are available or replaced when used/installed.Use RCA methodology on failures and support plant reviews.Prepare and execute projects to improve facility availability and reliability.Maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all times.Required to climb ladders, stairways and operate man-lifts for elevated instrumentation and control valve maintenance.Schedule and Direct contractor activities in all related areas covered above when required.Work with Engineering to support specification improvements, critical vendor qualification, QA/QC, RCA support for new and existing locations within LGUS.This position requires a combination of office work and field work including travel within the U.S. The Specialist will support the operation of our facilities to ensure they are maintained in a safe, reliable and environmentally friendly manner. The job occasionally requires overtime and callouts on weekend, nights and holidays. Employee must be able to access elevated equipment via ladders, scaffolding and man-lifts. Position also requires providing turnaround support within the U.S. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to Maintain working relationships with maintenance and operations personnel in a team environment.

Minimum 5 years of experience in automated/manual valve maintenance and repair.Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of 10 years of work experience and technical training required.Proven understanding of regulatory and industrial standards and codesProven understanding of control and instrumentation systems in industrial environment.Proven experience in computers and standard software packages (MS Office, E-Mail etc.).Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance of Industrial equipment.Desired Qualifications:
Associate Degree from a technical school At least 3 years of Industrial Gas Operations experienceProven experience in CMMS systems such as ProCal and Infor EAM (SAP, Maximo etc.)About Linde:
