Van Driver
Permanent part-time position working 20 hours per weekCommitment required to work Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 6:00pm


Help us deliver like never beforeAs our Van Driver based in Townsville QLD, you’ll be operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that!
You’ll be:Required to safely perform and operate a van to perform duties such as picking up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery CentresRequired to pick up mail and parcel items from our customersUnload mail articles from vans and manually sorting them into small or large letters and parcels including express postsCompleting your own daily vehicle safety checkPaired up with our experienced senior drivers, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
About youYou hold a full or probationary QLD driver’s licenceYou have experience driving a van or similar sized vehicle (all our vans are automatic)You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessmentYou are flexible with working additional hours if requiredYou have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularlyYou will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
