Job Summary:
Join our compassionate and dynamic Youth Community Services team as a Van Driver! In this role, you will play a vital part in providing safe transportation for clients participating in our programs. We are looking for a dependable individual who is safety-focused and passionate about making a positive impact in the community. If you have a valid Missouri Class E Driver's License and a good driving record, we encourage you to apply and help us make a difference in the lives of youth in our community.
As a Van Driver, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our clients during transportation while maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the van. Your role is essential in fostering a supportive environment for those we serve.

Safely transport clients to and from approved designations, following a set scheduleEnsure client safety during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulationsSchedule, route, and pick up clients as assigned; only scheduled clients will be allowed in the vanReport any suspicious activity while transporting clientsComplete necessary paperwork, including incident reports and other recordsMaintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients/patientsImplement safety check procedures for the vehicles according to company policyReport any mechanical or other problems with the vehicle to leadership immediatelyParticipate in staff development activities and required meetingsMaintain the van’s cleanliness and ensure it is well-maintained, arranging for routine maintenance and repairs as neededCommunicate effectively and establish positive relationships with clients, staff, and community membersEducation, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Valid Missouri Class E Driver's License with a good driving recordEligibility to be included on the company insurance policy for van driversCPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens CertificationHigh school diploma or GED, and at least 21 years old (required for insurance purposes)Successful completion of a background check including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglectCompletion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employmentMust possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and current vehicle insuranceAbility to perform physical demands of the job, including walking, running, and assisting clients as neededAdditional Qualifications:
