**Responsibilities** Upon the order of a qualified healthcare provider, the Vascular/Echo Ultrasound Technologist will operate equipment using high frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Cardiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic to perform vascular and/or cardiac sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS) as is applicable. May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by the supervisor to perform those duties. These procedures may include EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, and satellite test transmissions and result coordination. **Job Title: Vascular/Echo Ultrasound Technologist - Cardiology Lab** **Location: The Woodlands** **Department:** **Cardiology Lab** **Job Type: Full Time** **Salary Range: $** **78,011 - $96,363 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program Preferred: Associates degree in related healthcare field Bachelor’s degree in related health field **Experience** Required: 1 or more years of direct clinical experience in all phases of echocardiography and vascular studies. Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiography studies to the satisfaction of the Kelsey-Seybold Cardiologists. OR Will accept graduates with 6 months clinical rotations through an accredited echo and/or vascular sonography program and hiring department can provide direct supervision for 3 months. Applicant must demonstrate ability to perform echocardiography and vascular studies to the satisfaction of the Kelsey-Seybold Cardiologists. Preferred: Greater than 2 years’ experience performing vascular or echocardiography GE Ultrasound, Phillips Ultrasound, Parks Flo Lab and Unetixs equipment familiarity. **License(s)** Required: RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS BCLS certification Preferred: N/A **Special Skills** Required: Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience Preferred: PACS and RIS experience Speaks an additional language **Other** Required: May be required to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Lab Supervisor or the Exercise Physiologist Coordinator.
