The Department of Neurology of the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking an outstanding clinical/academic who is a Specialist in Vascular Neurology. The successful faculty candidate will provide clinical service, conduct clinically focused research in stroke/vascular neurology, and participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Minimum requirements are an MD/DO degree, completion of ACGME-accredited neurology residency training, and completion of a one-year vascular neurology fellowship. Candidates should be board-eligible or certified in Neurology. This position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
