Vascular Tech
Overview The Vascular Technologist performs basic and complex vascular ultrasound and other non-invasive vascular procedures as defined in department policies and procedures. The incumbent organizes and prioritizes work in accordance with department needs and completes assignments within assigned times. Job Details Qualifications: Completion of a program in ultrasound from an accredited Ultrasound School. 5 years experience in performing ultrasound procedures acceptable. Must be RDMS registered or registry eligible. Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Vascular Surgeon, operates all ultrasound equipment in order to produce diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies according to established procedures. General exams US Color Flow Doppler Echo TEE and Vascular. Special Requirements: Position requires the ability to work with all ultrasound equipment, computers, processors, chemicals and other medical equipment and communication devices. Salary Range USD $47.53 - USD $54.08 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
