Loyola Medicine is seeking a full-time Vascular Technologist to join our team at our Maywood Campus. In this role, you will perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound studies in a top-ranked, ICAVL-accredited lab, working alongside other technologists who are experts in this field. High-quality care is delivered in an inpatient and outpatient setting. What you’ll do:
Perform quality, non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures to facilitate the diagnosing of various vascular diseases following departmental protocols and guidelines.Provide patient care and maintain the patient's safety within established organization policies.Communicate with other clinical departments to coordinate patient care activitiesInstruct technical students and collaborate with residentsPerforms other related duties as assignedPerform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed.Participate in maintaining professional growth, self-development objectives & skill enhancement.Demonstrate a commitment to the organization by supporting & adapting to changes consistent with operating goals.

What you’ll need for this job:
Associate degree in an accredited vascular ultrasound program required (Bachelors degree preferred)Minimum 1-2 years of previous job-related experience. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) active status with the ARDMS.Maintain essential CME credits set out by ARDMSCPR/BLS - American Heart AssociationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
