Overview Under the guidance of qualified physicians, performs high-quality diagnostic echo-vascular ultrasound imaging treatments for patients for disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Produce, examine, and evaluate ultrasound images and related data using advanced expertise to perform imaging procedures. Qualifications **PRN** **Shift/hours will vary** **Vascular Tech** Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Specific course work: Graduation from a two-year cardiovascular technologist program Preferred Education: Completion of formal education and/or training in vascular technology Necessary Skills: 1. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians and other health care workers. 2. Ability to empathize with patients and families. 3. Ability to use good judgment in stressful emergency situations. 4. Adequate mathematics skills to maintain accurate record and report. Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or RVS (CCI) Preferred Licensure/Certifications: BLS certification Required Experience: 1-2 years; Minimum of one-year clinical experience Age of Patients Served: N/A
